I have photoshop elements and posted the following question on the elements forum. (and got the answer) -
"Somewhere I saw how to have your photo on your computer screen in both full view and zoomed view (PSE5) so you can see your changes as you make them in both views. I can't find my notes on how to do that. Can someone help me please. It was quite handy"
Does anyone know if this is possible in Photoshop CS 2 or 3?
Thanks

Hi ...

In CS2 try this open up any one of your images (lets say its called picture1.jpg) Now zoom in close on the image .. and paint a coloured stroke on it.
Then do Window>Arrange and choose New Window for picure1.jpg.

... and there you have a full image of the one you are currently working on. Continue to pain on the zoomed in image and you will see the other image change too ...

This is really useful when you are restoring images as it gives you the chance to work on a zoomed in image and yet still see how thw changes affect the full image :)
