10 mesh patterns [Archive] - Scrapper's Guide Forums

I do not understand how to get the 10 mesh patterns. The instructions say to place a copy of Scrappersguide Mesh.pat in the following location.... How do I get Scrappersguide Mesh.pat?

Hi Dotty ...

You should have downloaded a file scalled Scrappersguide Mesh.pat .. just install that in your patterns folder and then you will have the mesh patterns ready to use :)

The zip file that was included in the Premier kit for the mesh patterns is called 23_Mesh_patterns.zip. Just extract the zip file and you will have the pattern file that you need to install in the specified location.

Well, I am sure glad to have discovered this thread. I too couldn't find the mesh. That's becasue I didn't DL that part as it was on the right side. I thought that was photoshop, not elements. Glad I have them now, and even
finished, a Father's Day (its still June) LO using this months great stuff!

I downloaded the mesh patterns but I don't where to put them so I can use them. Am I supposed to create a patterns file or what. I just got PSE 5 so I am very much the newbie. TIA! September

For pattern files in PSE 5, they go here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Presets\Patterns

That's for Windows XP. The path may be different for Vista.

Just a quick note-the instructions for how and where to install the pattern file is in the manual that was part of the premier download kit for June, on card #9. I wasn't sure you were aware of that, so I thought I'd point it out so that you would know where to look when future kits have files that need to be installed too.
