Hello, I am happy to have found this site.
I am new to Photoshop Elements and have version6
I am wondering where to start learning my new program.I have some experience using PSPx1 and hopefully I will be able to transfer some of that knowledge.
Signing up for PET newsletter and Linda's premier subscription--will it be too overwhelming to do both? I have never done subscriptions before so I think it would be a good way to start.
Linda's new Elements 6 CD--wondering what it is all about.

Do sign up for the newsletter and also consider premium membership. It's worth every penny and then some. All of Linda's CDs are so easy to follow and well done that they are a great investment, too

Thanks everyone. I just wrote a reply but when it comes time to submit I am no longer logged in and I lose all my post I wrote. Sorry but I don't feel like re writing it right now. I was just repeating myself anyway about if it is too much to start here with premier subscription and over at the Village with PET at the same time?

Well I am on the second Premier newletter! And I absolutely love it. Waiting to get Linda's Elements 6 Cd and I just today ordered the book -The Missing Manual. I still haven't signed up for the photoshop elements PET program and am still wondering if this is a good option for me.I'd love to get their magazine.
I need all the help I can get.It is taking me way to long to make a LO and then when it is posted I see all kinds of things wrong with it.

My two stand-bys are Linda's written and video instructions for special techniques, and Patty Debowski's book, "Dital & Hybrid Scrapbooking & Card-Making with Photoshop Elements." Patty's book has all the information that "The Missing Manual" has, and MORE!, but in a much more user-friendly format. And if you get the "upgrade," you can even get an organizing system that is, alone, worth the price. The more I read this book, the more I love it...very easy to find quick answers. (I have both books, by the way, and no affiliation with Patty, darn it! I just never open the Missing Manual book any more!) I would recommend her book to new PSE users even if they didn't digi-scrap or make cards. I think she's coming out with a version 6 edition soon.
I love being a Premier member. Lynda has been responsible for getting me to jump into the deep end and do things I thought only advanced users could do. She has a soothing, calm voice, and makes you feel like making a break-out, for instance, is as easy as tying your shoes...EASIER!
The techies on this site are AWESOME...helpful, patient (even when they get the same questions every other day!), and quick to respond.

Ordered it yesterday immediately after I got my newsletter right from the links in newsletter. I'd have kicked myself if I missed the early bird sign up bonus. Can hardly wait for it to come. I sure was glad I am a premier member cause of the discount:) I am just tickled pink.
