newbie needs help

This might have been asked but....maybe it will help some other newbie....

I joined premiere last month and I did follow instructions to download everything but I did not print the newsletter and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is there a copy I can print so I can "follow" along for the lessons? I say I downloaded the lessons.... I have all my 30_winter_dawn... files and extracted things from them (I know they are not lesson specific) and then I have 3 other folders I downloaded and extracted from (30_grunge_border_brushes, 30_grunge_borders1_el, and 30_grunge_demo_photo). was that all I needed? Do I just read the adobe file and watch the video and viola I'm done (lol). Just wondering.....I have a lot to learn. Any help is appreciated.

The Winter Dawn Kit ... plus these folders:

30_grunge_border_brushes
30_grunge_borders1
30_grunge_borders2
30_grunge_borders3-5
30_grunge_borders
30_grunge_demo_photo

and jan_08_premier.pdf

Just check around and see if you have the rest of them somewhere else on your computer :)

The PDF that you downloaded is the newsletter. Yes, just watch the video. Also, I always open all the downloaded files to make sure they are working correctly. You can always login to Premier and the same newsletter and video downloads will be there until the March Newsletter and video's are posted. You'll be very happy that you joined Premier.

Hi I am new to all of this too. I just joined premier. I look forward to trying all this sfuff out. Time is a bit of a problem but am sure that everyone has that. I also am very new at learning all I need to know for downloading and extracting and saving and all that. I am excited to learn any thing I can. Would love to know if I can get the grundge brushes and boarders. I did pre order the new CD that is coming out sounds like there are some grundge stuff there. Look forward to hearing what everyone has to say and learning lots. Thanks Kelly

Welcome Kelly. You will love Scrappers guide. You can get last month's Premier with the grunge brushes and borders from the Scrappers Guide store. If it is not there yet, I'm sure it will be there soon.

I had never really used grunge before but after last months premier I am totally hooked on it now :)
