Hi from sunny Florida.
I'm Doris,I've been scrapping since 1996.Digital is totally new to me and I need all the help I can get.I'm hoping to get help to get started!

Oh Doris...I love Florida (at least in the spring, which is the only season I've experienced there). But Cyberly-speaking, you are in the right place. This group has taken me from zero to 80 in 4 months. You'll do well to sit down with a mug of your favorite hot beverage and peruse older postings for a couple hours.

I can personally recommend Linda's awesome tutorials (DVD as well as the written tips), and my favorite book, "Digital & Hybrid Scrapbooking & Card-Making With Photoshop Elements" (if you use PSE), by Patty Debowski. Both of these women have taken me from utter confusion ("Where to I even START?!") to confidence.

One of the best things you can do is make a simple layout and post it to the gallery. Then you will be invested and encouraged. I look forward to seeing your first layout.

You're going to love the digital scrapping. I was a long time paper scrapper too. I thought I'd never make the switch but oh soooo glad I have!
