Pse 7

I purchased a copy of PSE 7. Also purchased the Missing Manual for 7. Just downloaded my Christmas photos into it and cleaned them up a bit. All of my photos from PSE 4 were carried over and so far so Good! Thanks for your help.:)

Jan: Now that I have my photos "transferred" from PSE 4 to PSE 7, should I uninstall PSE 4?

You don't have to, but you can. Occasionally a newer release changes a favorite feature of a previous release, so I will sometimes hang on to older versions. But, PSE 4.0 was probably my least favorite version.

Make sure you disable your anti-virus software, and then use the control panel to uninstall.

I agree with Trish... Elements 4.0 was my least favorite version, too. You have a lot more tools with Elements 7.0. So you can either keep it installed or just uninstall it to save RAM.
