View Full Version : Scrap Your Goals for 2010!
Happy New Year, everyone...
If you're thinking about writing out a list of goals for the new year, why not scrap them instead! Create a layout (in any size or configuration) that you can print out and keep someplace in your home to remind you of the things you want to accomplish this year... scrapbooking and otherwise!
Take a look at this layout from VioletsNana (http://www.scrappersguide.com/forums/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=23343) and then sit down and create your own. Then post a link to your layout in this thread, so we can all see what you've created.
Let the resolutions begin... and have fun!

Well, just an update here. I was just looking to see if I am keeping up with my goals and found I already fell in a hole. I posted in Jan. and 2 times in Feb. but totally missed Mar. Darn. Well, I am out of the hole for the moment and am current for this months post. How is everyone else doing. Their best, I'm sure.

I believe there is magic in writing something down - it seems to help make it happen even if it is not quite right away. I have completed my specific goals for Jan thru Apr. In April I took 1,111 - yes 1,111 photos of our family vacation in Maui! and the only reason I took my laptop (much to my husband's chagrin) was because I had said I was going to so I could examine the photos and try to improve my photography (it helped immensely). In January I also uploaded a photo to Photoshop Elements Users and it was chosen for Image of the Week - was I amazed or what!!?? The only thing I haven't been doing is keeping a journal . . .

Very impressive Barb. I agree that writing things down gives you an outline to follow and help push us along to get things done. Lists? What would we do without them? We are list makers in this family. Nothing feels better than to strike something off of the to do list. Done!
