The Mac version of PSE comes with Bridge. Since you haveiPhoto, you don't need the "organizer" that Windoze users need.

Hi ...

Bridge isn't specific to Photoshop ... if you have Bridge then you can use it as a General Filebrowser for all sorts of other things

Default Bridge

I just got my IMac 7 days ago - have always been a PC user. So when I buy PS Elements 6.0 for the Mac, I get Bridge with it? Hooray! Have heard many wonderful things about it. I love my new IMac.

Tagging in Bridge is my favorite thing about my Bridge. I can find everything easily. It is a plus that you can see larger images there without having to open the file...it's a big plus for Bridge!

At the moment any digi supplies I have go into a folder on my desktop and then when I'm in PSE6 looking for something I use Bridge. I'm sure I could make things easier for myself and be more organized than I am. I've read that Shoebox is good for macs - does anyone use this? I'd be glad of any advice and comments.
Thanks
Hmm! This sounds like a familar question!! I just asked practically the same question....I have almost completed setting all of my stuff for scrapbooking up!! Contact me by private message and I will be happy to help you!!

Default organizing digital supplies

Purchased a program to create multiple libraries on iPhoto and put them on my external hard drive. I finally started organizing all my digi supplies in iPhoto and it works great except for one area. When the kit has a png element that is black. It appears in iPhoto as one black square and you cannot tell what it looks like. Any idea how to get around this? I tried changing the background in iPhoto from black to white but that didn't seem to do anything that helped. I don't want to alter that it is png or I won't be able to drag it onto the PSE workplace. Help. Thanks much, Janet

This is always something that is a bit of a problem, Janet. I've noticed, however, that if you increase the size to the largest possible -- in other words, move the slider to the far right and then wait for a second, you'll see the object of the png file. I don't have the fastest Mac around, so if you have a newer and faster one you might not notice the lag. Hope some other Mac users will chime in with their expertize.
