on the web. New to Digital Scrapbooking? If you’re just getting started with digital scrapbooking, you may need to learn the basics before you can tackle advanced techniques. If you like what you see but need to learn the basics, I have a special offer for you which I’ll tell you about in a bit. First, though, let’s take a look at the free downloads I have for you in this sample issue.
In “Artisan Metal Frames” I’ll show you how to create one-of-a-kind frames that look like metal. These frames can add a touch of whimsy or elegance to your scrapbook pages.

Meet the Designer
Jenny Binder of Heirloom Scrapbooks Jenny Binder was born and raised in Nebraska, attended Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, and moved to the Missouri countryside after marrying her farmer husband. They have two children, Juliana and Clayton. Jenny began paper scrapbooking six years ago. She decided to try digital scrapbooking for her business, Heirloom Scrapbooks, always intending to keep her personal scrapbooks the traditional, paper way. However, the more she learned digital, the more paper scrapbooking frustrated her. She found herself constantly saying things like, “I could get just the right color if I were doing this digitally.” She eventually converted all of her scrapbooking to digital and sold her paper “stuff” in a garage sale. Jenny doesn't like her layouts to distract from the photos. "I try to keep my pages simple with a little background texture," she says. "As far as products go, I’m willing to try just about anything, but designing heritage paper is probably my favorite." Out of all of Jenny's hobbies (and she's tried quite a few) scrapbooking appeals the most to her because it takes something you already have and need to do something with (pictures) and does something creative with them. "It’s almost like doing two jobs in one! Gotta love that!" Here’s what you’ll get in Jenny’s Raspberry Cream Kit:
Be sure to check out Jenny's other products at Scrapper's Guide: Other FeaturesMany issues also features other fun downloads, which might include layer styles, brushes, frames, or other custom products. Heavy Metal For instance, in this sample issue you can download a set of metal layer styles that will transform a mat, a shape, some type, or anything you choose to look like metal. The file that contains the metal layer styles is called “Scrapper’s Guide Metals.asl.” This single file has eight chrome metal styles and five gold or bronze styles. The PDF manual has complete instructions on how to install them, and the video will show you how much fun you can have with them!
Ten Metal Frames To complement the tutorial on creating metal frames, I’ve created ten unique digital metal frames that you can use right away on your scrapbook pages. In the examples below I’ve added my own photos to show you how nice they look, but the frames you download will each be a separate file with a transparent opening, ready for you to use with YOUR photos!
The frames come in the easy-to-use PNG for mat. Simply use the Move tool to drag and drop a frame onto your scrapbook page, or, if you prefer, use the copy and paste method:
