I think the touch features on the new Bamboo craft looks so cool! I use the old Bamboo, so an updated one would be great!

I think this tablet looks awesome! I’m used to the touch feature because of my iPhone, so I think I’d be very comfortable with the touch feature on the tablet. I’d love to refine my digital scrapbooking techniques with the pen too! It would be my first tablet. Thanks for this opportunity to win one!

I have never had the opportunity of using a Wacom Bamboo tablet but I have watched those who have. It looks so FUN! I would use the tablet to edit and enhance my own pictures and the pen would come in handy for adding some fun handwritten captions on my scrapbooking projects. I think the Wacom Bamboo tablet would help me take my scrapbooking to the next level!

A friend of mine brought hers over the other day and showed me all the wonderful things she could do with it. It was great! I’d love to have one of these. My husband has been out of work for 12 months and we have no money for scrapping supplies, so I’ve taken up digital scrapping and love it. This would be a great addition!

To leave her with these gifts to treasure all of her life. Really it is so amazing you are offering us all the chance to win such incredible gifts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

I’ve watched my daughter use a tablet for a few years in her graphic design studies and it has helped her wrist when she developed problems. As I get more into using my computer and tweaking everything I do (scrap booking) I find my wrist could use a break. The tablet has such an ability to have more pinpoint accuracy and relieve stress.

If I won the Wacom Bamboo Craft Tablet I would spend my days drawing and doodling, doodling and drawing, petting and patting it for it is such an excellent peripheral device. Then I would doodle and draw my nights away until my dear husband would be ready to pull his remain hair out. (He’s really a gem of a guy, on a par with the Wacom Bamboo Craft Tablet! grins and giggles) . So, that’s what I’d do if I won that terrific Wacom Bamboo Craft Tablet that you’re so graciously giving away! Thank you for the considerable time it took to read this message!

I have an older Graphire Tablet but the cord or USB port sometimes has an electirc short and the conection to the computer is lost. Mine needs to be replaced. I like to use the tablet for extraction and would love to someday learn how to do digital painting renderings with the smudge tool. The tablet also is an awesome change for ergonomic reasons– too much mouse work makes my wrists and arms ache.

About 6 months ago I had the opportunity to play with one of these. It’s amazing the things it can do! Editing pictures becomes so much easier! Also, it’s great for letting your kids draw on it and saving their artwork digitally. Digital scrapbooking is so much easier too and you can personalize with your own handwriting! It’s been on my wishlist ever since!!

I’ve heard so many good things about the Wacom Bamboo that I would be thrilled to win this wonderful product. In retouching photos I often have a difficult time controlling the mouse to do what I want. With the aid of the Wacom Bamboo I am sure it would bring out the ‘true’ artist within. Thank you for this opportunity to win the Wacom Bamboo.

I would use it for a multitude of purposes – the obvious – to record handwriting of family members (which I never realized was important til I lost my mom and we stared at every example endlessly), to extract my nieces from the photos I have taken and place them in far more interesting backgrounds, to select portions of my photos to sharpen, recolor and otherwise enhance and to add my own original artwork to my scrapbook pages. I would also play with it to see what other non-obvious uses I could put it to, such as adding dimples to my favorite guy.

I am an author and working-from-home-mom from Germany. Shortly before I lost my mother to cancer last year, I ran into someone who has since then been teaching me about photography, retouching photos and who introduced me to working with digital art and graphics. I think that I came out fine despite that horrible loss last year is thanks to learning about these things. It was as if a door has been opened to a creative world that can stand alongside my writing and that works especially well at times when words come hard because of grief or stress.
The next step would be to invest in a tablet, to really start drawing in a computer and retouch photos with more ease, but I hesitate because it is “only” a hobby.
I would also love to have a tablet around to see my son (3) explore his drawing talents on a computer :)

What WOULDN’T I do with the tablet?!! I design a lot of digital scrapbook pages as my personal hobby, and professionally I use photoshop for everything – designing, color-correcting, retouching, restsorations. I was recently at a Photoshop Seminar where the speaker was talking about how great tablets are for retouching, and how you can do things with it that you’d never be able to do with a mouse. A tablet is on the top of my list of gadgets to get.

While showing it to my daughter, my 6 year old granddaughter started to become interested in it. Soon she was the one using it and creating amazing things. What could I do but leave it with them. I love seeing what they created with it and would love the chance (again) to do the same.

As a busy mother and business person I love to share my travel and family moments … but with what time? All of my cameras are now digital and photos are on my computer so traditional scrap-booking, although lots of fun, is not so easy for me to find time for. Digital Scrap-booking just seems like the logical way for me to be able to spend a few minutes to share these special moments with fellow workers, business associates, family & friends. Besides with some more knowledge I could use this to present products to customers as well … a picture is better than a thousand words! Thanks for this opportunity to win the education I need to succeed.

Trying to design these pages in a pleasing and exciting manner that he will appreciate; at the same time, I want them to reflect all of the beauty of the Academy, the challenges that the Midshipmen face daily, and the honor they have been blessed with. I recently purchased PSE8 and the Learn Digital Scrapbooking Training CD. They are immensely helpful and, I am sure, would be even more so with an addition of the tablet. I believe it would add an extra edge to developing pages that are meant for my 20-year old military man attending what I believe is undoubtedly one of the very top military academies in the world! And, please, let’s all say “Thank God” for the fine men and women who have willingly taken on the burden of protecting all of our freedoms!

I’m so excited it’s Digital Scrapbooking Day today because it’s also my birthday and I actually have some time to play!!!! Thanks for letting us all know and thanks for opprotunity to enter this giveaway.

If I won the Bamboo, I would do more drawing and combining photos. My handwriting isn’t so great and my drawings are less than terrific, but I think with this technology it would look more as if I intended to look like it comes out! One’s own creations are such an important part of passing on history to those who follow.

Thanks for all of your work!

I have been admiring the tablets for years. I have asked for it for Christmas, but it is never in our budget since we have three small children. The tablet would be a great tool to create scrapbooks for our family. I am especiallly envious of the handwriting journaling that can be accomplised with this tool. I hope to win. Thanks for opportunity to win the tablet!

One of the only (and I mean only) things I miss about paper scrapbooking is having my own handwriting once in a while. I love to play with fonts, but special journaling to my family would be nice to have in my own handwriting and I could do this with the bamboo tablet.
The other great thing I’d do…my “tween ager” has an interest in photography and digital scrapping and this is so important as she learns who she is, what she likes, and gains confidence in life. I know she would love to use this on her own photos to make them fun! KRIS

I am not quite sure what all this cool tool will do – but I am sure that if I can take my own elements and clean them up, it would enhance my digital pages. As I understand it, this tool would help with doing that. I also would like to create my own handwriting and doodles for my pages in an easier way. Would love to learn to use a new tool that I can take with me on those nights when I have to take the kids to CAP and have nothing else to do.

I have turned from scrapbook store owner to stay at home mom this past year. After the economy took my store away, I actually was thrilled to find digital scrapbooking and have been head over heels in love ever since. I have so many books and magazines that all talk about the tablets, and I would so love to try one out. All of the people around my area are still very avid and devoted paper scrappers, so I don’t really get to talk with them about it. Now, when I thought maybe Christmas would afford me a chance to get one, my husband has lost his job of 16 years, leaving us with no income and two kids. I am devoted to making sure we give them a good Christmas, but would still love the idea of a new toy for me too!

I would LOVE to add my personal handwriting to my digital scrapbooking, and this would be a great way to do it quickly & easily. Journaling is, I think, one of the most important parts of scrapbooking- wish my ancestors had done that so I would know names and circumstances of all the charming photos they left behind. A handwritten story with a photo makes it sing off the page, and into the viewer’s memory forever.

Oh Linda and Scrapper’s Guide you have done it again…. it looks like you have touch so many and to add such a wonderful gift for one of us to win!!!! We all want one!!!! I would love to have a Bamboo craft tablet because I am a lefty and have to use a mouse in my right hand so I am cramping my creativity. I think this craft tablet would make a great tool to make some great brushes. I also have a few health issues using a mouse which a Bamboo craft tablet would help a lot. I have seen someone on TV use one of these craft tablets and she made it look so easy and of course leaving me wishing I had one. But if I don’t win such a great gift that will not stop me from doing digital scrapbooking which I love doing so much better since I have found this wonderful group of folks at Scrapper’s Guide. To begin with, thank you Linda for deciding to go into the business of creating tutorials and the Premier. I started with Elements 5 in 2006 as a brand new scrapper. That was the year I found Scrappers Guide. Thank you for teaching me all that I now know, which is quite a lot.

Over the years I’ve read on your Scrapper’s Guide site about how easy it is to make elements using the Wacom. I really would like the opportunity to have one to see for myself. I have a 9 year old grandson who I am raising and have more photos than you can imagine. I’d love to make my own elements, and have using the shapes, etc. in Photoshop Elements and in Photoshop CS3. It would be nice to make my own personalized ones from scratch using the Wacom. Too, it would be nice to have the grandson look back at his scrapbook pages with his Grandmom’s own handwriting on them.
Thanks for this opportunity and for all the years of teaching that you have done.

Great prizes for a great celebration!
I am blessed to have a half dozen grandchildren (lol) and most of them love to write stories of monsters and princesses or even imaginative letters written to movie characters (my special needs granddaughter specializes in that!) I am trying to use their written stories and making them into storybooks for them to have forever. I am trying to use whimsical scrapbook pages and elements fitting their stories, then using their extracted faces and then drawing the bodies like cartoon illustrations or even stick figure bodies. I love their stories and this addition would be a great help in making the bodies to use on their pages of the books.
