Do you have any idea where to find the best deals on the MAC version of Photoshop Elements might be?
Love this photo w/ the texture treatment!
Thanks.
This is amazing how this really changed the original photo into a piece of art.
This type of an effect (and quite a few others) can also be accomplished with a photo software program that has “filters”. Amazing what you can do with a photo either in color or black and white. FYI
Hi Heather, you might try Costco, WalMart or some of the other discount stores.
Kathy, So glad you’re enjoying the tutorial! “Texturizing” is fun and habit-forming!
Ed, built-in filters are a bit different. In this tutorial, we’re teaching you something a little more advanced, which will allow you not only to make your own textures, but also how to stack and blend several for your own unique effect, which goes beyond just applying a filter. It gives you much more creative power and freedom.
These are really TERRIFIC techniques, and the result is just amazing on just about any type of photo. Thank you Jan.
I’m pretty sure this is my all-time favorite tutorial! Thanks Jan!! I love all the examples you show at the end of the video too. So many great ideas to try!!
